Alhumduillah “Mindscapes Digital Darkroom & Studio” is now open. Besides doing commercial and personal work students are invited to attend lectures, talks and workshops discussing various aspects of digital and analog photography.

“MindScapes” is a new multipurpose photography studio with an elegant design and a functional layout. Its still-life, beauty and fashion photo capability will confidently serve many sessions over the coming years “InshAllah”. The facility is complete with air conditioning, a daylight makeup/styling area. The studio also has natural daylight capabilities which can be blacked out. The studio is clean, well-maintained, efficient and comfortable, providing a complete professional environment for all its potential clients. Stock images are also provided on an assortment of subjects write in to us know what you require. Optimistically we will be able to provide what you need. Once your order has been confirmed ,your high resolution images can be delivered as an emailed attachment max 10 MB or you could have the photos sent on CD-Rom format - 40 to 50 MB RGB files at 300 dpi. Each photo is retouched and color/contrast balanced. The photos are saved in RGB files in order to give our clients the freedom to adapt their own color files to the print medium used.

This decision is based on the following facts ::.

::. converting RGB images to CMYK results in irrecoverable loss of luminosity.
::. RGB is appropriate for use in multimedia and internet applications as it consistent to the screen format.
::. this format allows professionals to create their own CMYK separated files according to the paper used for printing.
